Statement of Purpose:
The Young Adult Ministry (BOLD), seeks to provide spiritual nourishment, inspiration and guidance to adults ages 18 to 29; whether just out of high school, in college, or already in the work field. It is our desire to enable young adults with the tools to serve God in this very vital beginning stage in life.

1st Corinthians 15:58 “Therefore my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain”
Vision:
Embrace young adults in our church and community, addressing their needs and issues through outreach, Christian fellowship, and helping them to gain the knowledge of the love of Jesus Christ. BOLD will, through the power of the Holy Spirit, provide young adults with the information that will sustain the rest of their future, by teaching them the tools that will anchor them in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

B = Believe: means to trust in God and His promises. It’s not just saying we believe-it’s living in a way that shows we trust Him completely. Believing in God is the foundation of our faith and the key to having a relationship with Him.
O = Obey: is the act of doing what God commands and what we know to please to him.
If you do whatever I command you and walk in obedience to me and do what is right in my eyes by obeying my decrees and commands, as David my servant did, I will be with you. I will build you a dynasty as enduring as the one I built for David and will give Israel to you (i Kings 11:38)
L = Love: God is the personification of love – and he loves us. God’s love for us is perfect and unconditional. There is nothing we can do to make him love us less.
D = Discipleship: Luke 6:40 “In the heart of a disciple there is a desire, and there is a decision or settled intent. The disciple of Christ desires above all else to be like him”
These words represent who we are as a group. Striving together and individually as we show who God is within us and through community outreach.
