Meet Our Founders

Keith & Gladys Conard are the founders of Faith Evangelistic Ministries, a Non-denominational, multiethnic, charismatic, bible-believing fellowship.

Raised in the church, Bishop Conard was able to build a solid foundation that is evident today. He began working hands on in ministry as a Youth Pastor in 1980 and evangelizing in 1982 at Central Assembly of God in St. Joseph, MO. By 1983 Bishop Conard was fully ordained through Anchor Bay Evangelistic Association maintaining these credentials to date as well as servicing passionately as a board member of A.B.E.A. for many years. It was during his time as an evangelist that Faith Evangelistic Ministries was founded on October 26th, 1986 during a tent revival held at Bean Lake, MO.

The congregation began as a small gathering of people but soon God began to multiply and grow. Between 1986 and 1988 services were held in several different locations while the Conards continued evangelizing, holding revivals and sharing the gospel in many cities. During the year of 1988, construction began on a church building near Bean Lake, MO.

Due to the flood in 1993, the congregation was relocated to Leavenworth, KS and in time to the current building of worship at 120 N. Broadway. Bishop and 1st Lady Conard have continued to touch those around them with the Gospel. In 2000, 1st Lady Gladys Conard founded The Lamb’s Inn, a program to support and mentor unwed teen mothers. Together they work with the community as foster parents in numerous youth mentoring programs as well as recently assisting in opening a homeless shelter here in Leavenworth, KS.
