06/19/16: Never Give Up, God Will Never Leave You!

Never Give Up, God Will Never Leave You!

Heberews13:5- Here is what it says: Let your conversations be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have, for He hath said, I will never leave thee nor forsake thee.

Sometimes in our lives, we face many trials, sorrows, and difficulties. We do try very hard to push on and rise above over challenges. We get frustrated and overwhelmed and at times, we just want to quit. But wait, don’t give into the devil. God is our stronghold, a peace in the midst of the trouble. Call out for Jesus. Repent of any sin and keep the faith. God is with us every step of the way. All throughout your day and night.

I want to share a courageous story with you of faith and love. This story comes out of the book of Daniel.
Daniel 3:1- There was a King called Nebuchadnezzar who made a large gold image. This king expected everyone to bow down and worship this image.
Daniel 3:4-5-A herald cried out to you it is commanded. At the time, ye hear the sound of a flute, harp, horn; you will fall down and worship the gold image.

As we move forward to
Daniel 3:12 it says… “Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego would not bow down and worship this image.” They believed in God and only God.
So, King Nebuchadnezzar became furious and ordered that if anyone did not obey, they would be thrown in to a fiery furnace.
Daniel 3:17 – These three men said, “God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning furnace and out of their hand, O king.”
In Daniel 3:23-30  – King Nebuchadnezzar orders the three to be found and hence thrown in the fiery furnace.

The furnace was seven times hotter and it killed the men that threw Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in the fire. In the middle of the fire the king saw four men, the fourth man was Jesus. At this point the king pulled the three men out, they were unharmed, not a hair on them burned.

By faith, trust, hope, love and belief in Jesus Christ all things are possible.
