I AM Statement #6
This week we are on “I Am” statement number six. You will find this statement in John 14:6.
John 14:6- Jesus said unto him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to
the Father but through me.”
Friends when Thomas pondered that Jesus was leaving, it troubled him.
Wondering… If Jesus leaves, how can we learn the way to Him? Christ boldly answers, I
Am the way to God because He is the truth of God (John 1:14) and the life of God (John 1:4,
3:15, 11:25).
It really is simple; in a personal relationship with Jesus, we find our way to God. The truth is
what we hold onto while truly living in life for God. Living for God right now and placing all
faith in who He sent guarantees eternal life with the Father in Heaven.
Jesus is the only way; and as long as we have Jesus then Heaven will surely be our home.
