Praise the Lord Saints!
Last week, it was Jesus as the “word” of God.
This time is “valuable metal” as the symbol and it symbolizes incalculable worth. Psalms 12:6 “The words and promises of the Lord are pure words, like silver refined in an earthen furnace, purified seven times over…” This tells us that because God is pure, His words are pure, and we can hold fast and trust in Him; as they used silver to make things and buy things we know his words can shape us and keep us
Psalms 19:10 “they are more desirable then gold, yes then much fine gold”; Here is comparing Gods judgement to gold. Precious metal we cherish. We are to cherish God’s judgements much, much more then gold. His judgements are righteous, and He will avenge His people at the appointed time.
Silver and gold are valuable metals that are used to symbolize the incalculable worth of God’s words and judgements.
