From The Bishop’s Hea
OK, fall is certainly in the air. You can feel the breeze. The temperatures have already started to drop, and the grass and the leaves have a touch of brown. The landscape is changing, and people feel better. That’s what change does it invites something new. Newness brings greater hope, fresh vision, more energy and the ability to finish the race. A runner who gets a second wind has an amazing finish. For whatever reason, some people fight change, and they don’t like it. There are things in life that shouldn’t change, but there are many things that should. God changes things by just His presence in the room. He designed us to change as we grow spiritually and physically.
Life teaches us lessons, our thoughts are different, our actions and our very outlook on life changes. When I was a child I spoke like a child, but when I became a man, I put away childish things. (1 Corinthians 13:11) The church is changing, it’s getting better. Satan is at work doing what he does to try and weaken us or stall us out. But God is bigger, and greater is He who is in me than he that is in the world. (1 John 4:4) It was not a coincidence that our friend from Africa just happened to stop by. He brought us a message from God. Reminding us that we are blessed and we must continue to be a blessing. Change will get us to the next level, the place where God is and we will be. I pray for you all and ask God to watch over you with His protecting power.
In His service and yours,
With all my Heart,
Love,
Bishop Conard
