From The Bishop’s Heart

       Another month has passed, and we saw God move in many ways, but what we are about to see will be an even greater move. The church is now praying around the clock every day. We have intensified our fasting day, and we are wanting only God’s will and to please Him more than ever. March brought about many things. Daylight savings time gave us more hours of light to work, play, and enjoy the great outdoors. We saw another successful change war, which is always fun, and helps us to accomplish something that without it, would have to wait. At the time of this writing, we do not know who won, but it came down to the last service. We will let you know next month. Easter service, as always, was a great blessing. This year we did a “Close the Door Service” and for those who by faith participated, expect your prayers to be answered. When God answers your prayer, I would sure like to hear about it.

       Ministries are all in full swing and it’s difficult to talk about all they are doing. Our annual Easter egg hunt went very well, as always. We strive to touch our community every way we can. God supplies many tools to share the gospel. We just need to learn how to use them. We are in need of a Welcome Ministry leader and Marriage Ministry leaders. We also need more help in children’s church. We can always use more van drivers too. Please pray about these things. God may speak to your heart. As we get deeper into Spring and Summer gets closer, there is much to do and many events taking place. I am always thankful that I’m a part of a body of people like you. Your willingness and determination to serve God and His people continue to touch my heart.
