2/2/16: “Conditions for New Spiritual Birth”

“Conditions for New Spiritual Birth”

Now, everyone knows that when two people, a man and a woman, mutually come together as one unified flesh, it is called marriage. And in just about all cases of marriage between a man and a woman usually directly after the marriage, a brand new life is born into the world. It is no different as when a person accepts the truth and asks Jesus Christ to come into their heart as Lord and Savior. It is a mutual agreement between two people to be unified as one. This is why Jesus Christ is called the, ’Groom’, and we are called the, ‘Bride’. This mutual unification brings about the birth of a new spirit.

Just as the saved bringing the unknowingly lost into a house of worship, can create a new birth. They may listen, but they are really watching how we act towards one another. Through our actions alone, we can help an individual receive the truth. Thus, being willing vessels, helping to create the correct environment for the breeding ground of the greatest miracle of all, salvation.

Acts 2:42-47 – They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone

That reminds me of a certain Rich Young Ruler. <Matthew 19:16-22 – And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? And He said unto him, why callest me good? There is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. He saith unto Him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Honor they father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. The young man saith unto Him, all these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet? Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in Heaven: and come and follow me. But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.>

Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. <Hebrews 10:23-25 – Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) and let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.> They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.

The Christian life begins and continues with an acceptance that God’s truth has been revealed to us. We will never have a sound, effective and militant church until we first have a believing church. A true church is a family over which the Heavenly Father presides and in the midst of which Christ abides (Habitation vs. Visitation): Matthew 18:19-20 – “Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in Heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” Without a great love between Christ and His church, no children can be brought forth. A strong, healthy spiritual condition must prevail in order for the bride of Christ, the Church, to bring forth healthy children. Christ will never permit children to be born of a spiritually weak, nearly starved church. This would result in stillbirth or weak offspring.

Galatians 4:21-31 – For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman. Be he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise. Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from Mount Sinai, which gendered to bondage, which is Agar. For this Agar is Mount Sinai in Arabia, and answered to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children. But Jerusalem which is above is free <this is the church, the New Jerusalem established under the Gospel, the new covenant, by Christ>, which is the mother of us all <the church is the mother of saints>. For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath a husband. Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise. But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now. Nevertheless, what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman. So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, Conditions for New Spiritual Birth In final thought, why be of bondage to the world? You were not born to be in bondage to the world, but you were born to be free in Jesus Christ! Give birth to a new spirit within you by accepting the freedom of Jesus Christ as your Lord and

Genesis 9:7 – And you, be fruitful, and multiply; bring forth abundantly in the earth, and multiply therein.
