4/26/16: Healing Two Hearts

Healing Two Hearts

You might wonder…hmmmmm, two hearts.  Whose hearts?

We are talking about our heart and our enemies’ hearts.  How do we do heal two hearts?  We can heal two hearts with lots of prayer and reading the bible.

In Romans 12: 17-21; it says, “Repay no one evil for evil; live peaceably with all men. Do not avenge yourselves; vengeance is mine: says the Lord.  Therefore, if your enemy is hungry feed him, if he is thirsty give him a drink, for in doing so you will heap coals of fire on his head.”  Therefore, by being, kind and loving towards your enemies you may show them the goodness that God has given to you.

Psalms 51:10 says, “Create in me a clean heart O God; and renew a right spirit within me.”  God’s love is abundant enough for everyone, omnipresent, warn, tender, full of mercy.  God’s love can cover you and your enemies.

Psalms 41:4says, “I said, “Lord be merciful to me, heal my soul, for I have sinned against you.”  As we pray and ask forgiveness for our enemies, we begin our own healing process.  We need to realize that our enemies have their own enemies to battle as well.  In our prayers to God, we can lift them up.  And, through Jesus, they can be saved.

Psalms 108:6 “That thy beloved may be delivered; save with thy right hand and answer me.”

Proverbs 4:23 “Above all else guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it

We can pray, and with our action help, our enemies and as well as ourselves to realize that beyond flesh and blood, our real enemy is satan; who is the only enemy.  We have to learn to fight him and not each other.

Colossians 3: 12-13; says,  “Put on therefore as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do.

There is salvation for our enemies and for their enemies and so on.

2 Peter 3:9says,  “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.”

Philippians 1:6 says, “Being confident of this very thing, that he who has begun good work in you will complete it until the day Jesus Christ”;

Matthew 5:44says, “But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who spitefully use your and persecute you.”

Pray for your enemies every day.  Soon change will come upon them.  If they do not know Jesus as their personal Savior, here is your open door, to lead them to their salvation.

  1. Look past tour enemy, and their flesh. See the devil for he is our true enemy. Psalms 46:1; “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
  2. The issues are not the person. They are the ideas, thoughts, and actions that the devil tries to give them to carry out.
  3. Forgive them and pray for God to become the center of their life. Luke 23:24; “Then said Jesus “Father forgive them, for they know not what they do.
  4. The best part of all: LOVE; LOVE them!
John 13:34-35 says, “A new commandment I give unto you, that ye love one another just as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.”  “Bye this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye are love one for another.”  AMEN
